Save an Unfinished Message Without Sending It in Yahoo! Mail
To save your email as a draft and continue composing later in Yahoo! Mail:
- Click Save Draft in the message's toolbar.
- You can also press Ctrl-S.
- Close the tab.
To continue writing the email message, double-click it in the Drafts folder.

To save message you are composing for later completion in Yahoo! Mail Classic:
- Click the Save as a Draft button.
To continue working on the message, go to the Draft folder and click on the saved message you want to continue composing.

With special measures taken upon sending, Yahoo! Mail message drafts can also serve as email templates.
