- Type "587" under Outgoing server (SMTP):.
- If the number under Incoming server (POP3): is not "995", enter "995" there.

To set up a free Windows Live Hotmail account in Windows Mail using FreePOPs:
- Install FreePOPs and make sure it is running.
- Select Tools | Accounts... from the menu in Windows Mail.

- Type your name under Display name:.
- Click Next.
