Choose ISPs by Their Spam Policy

By Heinz Tschabitscher, About.com

If I tell my computer dealer there are other shops where I can get this-and-that with better service for a lower price, I usually get what I wanted. The same holds true for ISPs and spam.

If you choose an ISP,

  • make sure they not only act aggressively against their own spamming customers and
  • possibly filter incoming spam, but also
  • prevent harvesting of their network and
  • don't host spamvertised Web sites.
