How to Save Multiple Attachments at Once with Outlook

By Heinz Tschabitscher, About.com

If I get an email with more than one file attached, I don't want to save each one individually to the same directory (my secret "attachments" directory). Fortunately, Outlook offers an easy way to save all attachments to a directory at once.

Save Multiple Attachments at Once with Outlook

To save multiple attachments at once in Microsoft Outlook:

  • Open the message in Outlook.
  • Select File | Save Attachments | All Attachments... from the menu.
    • In Outlook 2002 and Outlook 2003, select File | Save Attachments from the menu.
  • Click OK.
  • Select the folder where you want to save the attached files.
  • Click OK again.
