Open Email Messages in Maximized Windows If you prefer to maximize email messages while you read them, you don't have to do so with each message you open. Use this trick to make it happen automatically each time. It is based on how Microsoft Windows saves and reuses window size information. When you always want to display all your email messages so that the message windows fills the screen, follow these steps: Open any email message by double-clicking or double-tapping it. Make sure the window isn't maximized. If it is, at the top of the window, select the Restore Down icon (next to the X) to minimize the window. Move the window to the upper-left corner of the screen, as far to the corner as you can get it. From the lower-right corner of the window, drag the corner to the lower-right corner of the screen.
