Mark All Messages Read Quickly in Mozilla Thunderbird or Netscape

When I return from a holiday from email, I usually return to a lot of email in my Mozilla Thunderbird Inbox.

I want to read it all, but I have to prioritize, and some mailing lists in particular are not essential reading. Then I simply mark all messages in the folder read and leave for another holiday. How I do that?
