How to Find Out Which of Your Addresses Received an Email in iPhone Mail

You're exceptional in many a regard, but not in this: you have more than one email account, and more email addresses than accounts to check.

Of course, you've added all your address to yourself in iPhone Contacts. Now, all emails you get in iPhone Mail show but your name in the To: or Cc: line — while you'd like to know by way of which address a particular message reached you. Fortunately, that "yourself" in iPhone Contacts shows you.

Find Out Which of Your Addresses Received an Email in iPhone Mail

To see which email address is in the To: or Cc: line of an email you received (instead of just a name):

  • Open the message in iPhone Mail.
  • Tap Details if you see it next to the From: line.
  • Tap the name appearing after To: or Cc:.
  • Look for the email address in blue. It is the one to which the message was sent.
