How to Access GMX Mail in Gmail

Archive your GMX Mail messages or read them with other accounts

What to Know

  • Enable IMAP and POP3 on GMX. Go to Settings > POP3 & IMAP > Enable access to this account via POP3 and IMAP > Save.
  • On Gmail, select the Settings gear > See all settings > Accounts and Import > Import mail and contacts.
  • Enter your GMX Mail address and select Continue. Sign in to your account, choose what you want to sync, and select Start Import.

If you have Gmail and GMX Mail email addresses, you may find checking email in both places inconvenient. Instead, set up Gmail to retrieve your GMX email messages (and send from your gmx.com address) from Gmail. In this way, you can use both services from one interface. Gmail can also apply a label automatically to your GMX Mail messages so they're in one place in Gmail, leaving your Inbox uncluttered.
