Nominate Your Favorite Free Email Service for The Reader's Choice Awards 2010

The Reader's Choice Awards 2010

By , About.com Guide

From February 1, 2010 to February 24, 2010, vote for the best free email service 2010.

From January 1, 2010 through January 24, 2010, nominate your favorite free email service using the form below.

  • Enter the free email service you nominate under Response Title:.
  • Briefly describe (in 50 to 1,000 characters; that's some 10 words at least) why you think your nomination the best free email service under Response. See below if you want to avoid that description.
  • Click Submit.

Voting will take place throughout February 2010; the reader's choice 2010 free email service winner will be announced in March, 2010.

What kind of service can I nominate?

You can nominate any free email service.

That includes free email accounts (Windows Live Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, Gmail,…), for example, but also other services such as an RSS-to-email or email reminder service.

Desktop email programs (Mozilla Thunderbird, Outlook,…) have their own categories for Mac and Windows. Please do not submit them here.

Like a particular feature or email idea that first appeared in 2009? You can submit that for its own category, too.

Can I nominate more than 1 service?

Sure.

Please complete a separate submission for each service.

Can I nominate a service already in the list?

Yes, please do so.

A service's multiple submissions help it make the cut for final voting.

Do I really have to justify my submission with a 50-character description?

No.

A description would be helpful and spiffy, of course. To avoid it, though, repeat the service's name some 15 times, which will look snazzy, too, or enter the following stale text with your nomination at the top:

  • # is my distinguished nomination for the best free email service 2010.
