You can set up Sparrow to sort the messages that make up a conversation in customarily chronological order instead, starting with the first — earliest — message at the very top and the most recent at the bottom.
Make Sparrow Put the Oldest Message on Top in Conversations
To read threads sorted by chronological order with the first message on top in Sparrow:
- Select Sparrow | Preferences… from the menu in Sparrow.
- Go to the Advanced category.
- Make sure Show older messages first is checked under Conversation View:.
- Close the Preferences window.
Note that this setting will not change the way emails and conversations are sorted in your inbox or another folder or label.
