How to Access Free Yahoo! Mail with Outlook for Mac

Enter your Yahoo! Mail address under "E-mail address:"

Click "Add Account"

Type your Yahoo! Mail password under Password:.
Make sure Configure automatically is not checked.
Enter your full Yahoo! Mail address under User name.
Make sure POP is selected under Type:.
Enter "localhost" under Incoming server:.
Make sure Override default port is not checked.
Enter "2000" after the : following "localhost".
Make sure Use SSL to connect (recommended) is not checked.
Enter your ISP or other email account's mail server under Outgoing server:.
- You cannot send mail through MacFreePOPs or Yahoo! Mail; you can send using a mail server you also use with another email account, though, such as Gmail or AIM Mail.
- To use Gmail, for instance, enter "smtp.gmail.com" under Outgoing server:; make sure Override default port is checked; enter "465" after the : following "smtp.gmail.com"; and make sure Use SSL to connect (recommended) is checked.
Click Add Account.
