How to Check for New Mail Periodically with The Bat!

Automatic and periodic mail checking is a great and useful feature, and in The Bat! it is particularly useful because it is a per-account setting. You can have your private mail checked every five minutes, for example, and your work mail every four hours.

Check for New Mail Periodically with The Bat!

To set up automatic mail checking for an account in The Bat!:

• Highlight the account in the folder list.
• Select Account | Properties... from the menu.
• Go to the Options category.
• Make sure Periodical checking each is selected.
• Enter an interval for automatic mail checks.
• Click OK.
