Avoid Confirming Message Deletion in Opera

By , About.com Guide

By default, Opera asks you to confirm the deletion of every single message. This can become tedious quickly.

Fortunately, there's a way to turn off this "security" measure. You're only moving the messages to the trash in the end, from where you can easily recover them.

To turn off deletion confirmation for all email messages in Opera:

  • Select E-mail | Edit active account... from the menu in Opera.
  • Go to the Warning tab.
  • Make sure (Warn before deleting to Trash) All e-mail is not selected.
  • Close the dialog with OK.
