Install Outlook Express Stationery in EML Format
It needs no installing, for example. If the EML stationery comes as a compressed zip file, you just unzip it with a utility like WinZip.
Now you can "install" the .eml file in any directory you like. I put my EML Outlook Express stationery in the My Documents\Stationery folder to have them all neatly collected in one place, for example.
And, of course, using .eml stationery is just as easy as installing it!
EML Stationery Not Working?
If you have Cumulative Security Update for Outlook Express (911567) installed, make sure you also get and enable the KB918766 package for .eml stationery to work. After installing the update, you can use this registry file to set the necessary values: Select Run... from the Start menu, type "regedit" and click OK. Now select File | Import... from the menu in Registry Editor and open zenable_eml_stationery.reg.
