By Heinz Tschabitscher, About.com

NewsGator lets you follow interesting RSS feeds like no other tool, and directly in Outlook. But where are the interesting feeds? Sure, you've found some via the web sites that interest you and subscribed from there, but that can't be all, can it?

No, NewsGator has a huge database of available RSS feeds, and you can search it directly from NewsGator. Of course, subscribing is a one-click affair as well.

To find feeds that interest you in NewsGator:

  • Select NewsGator | Subscriptions... from the NewsGator toolbar.

  • Click Next.
  • Make sure RSS/Atom (syndicated content) is selected.
  • Click Next.
  • Select Search for a feed.
  • Type the terms you want to search for.
  • Click Next again.
  • Check the feeds you want to subscribe to.
    • Click the Feed search results root to select all detected feeds.
  • Click Next.
  • Click Finish.
