Disable the Sidebar in Netscape Mail

One of the nice features in Netscape and Mozilla is My Sidebar. Unfortunately, My Sidebar can be a bit of a nuisance in Netscape Mail.

To stop My Sidebar from obscuring your mail folders, turn it off completely for Netscape Mail:

• Select View | Show/Hide | My Sidebar from the menu to make sure it is not checked.
  • In Netscape 6, the menu item is View | My Sidebar.

Netscape will remember this setting across Mail sessions, but it won't affect the sidebar in Netscape browser windows.
