How to Make K9 Announce Good Mail

In 95% of all cases, K9 has a precise idea what is spam. That's not only good for your Inbox as such, you can also avoid being alerted about spam.

K9 can play the role of a mail checker beautifully. Once set up, it will announce new, non-spam mail using its system tray icon and sound.

Make K9 Announce Good Mail

To have K9 announce good mail:

• Go to the Configuration tab of K9.
• Make sure
  • Change tray icon when Good mail has arrived and
  • Play sound when Good mail has arrived
  are checked.
  • Of course, you can also enable only one of the announcement methods.
• Close the K9 window.
