That's why it is a good idea to save your work from time to time in Windows Live Hotmail, especially when you are composing a longer message.
Save Drafts of Longer Messages in Windows Live Hotmail
To save a message you are currently composing in Windows Live Hotmail or MSN Hotmail:
- Click Save draft.
- You can also press Ctrl-S (or the keyboard shortcut set up for saving drafts).
This saves the message to the Drafts folder in your Windows Live Hotmail account.
Unfortunately, the Save Draft button also closes the message and returns you to the Hotmail Inbox. Fortunately, the path to continuing your message is short and easy.
