"Went to get some fresh hair."
Out of office auto-replies — the automatic emails you get relaying that so-and-so is, alas, on the road and will not now (or, sometimes, ever) be able to reply to your email — are usually short, to the point, and extremely boring.
Some, of course, are short, to the point, and extremely funny, be it on purpose or by accident.
What were the most creative, or maybe silliest or most unfortunate vacation auto-replies you have received (or sent)? Share Your Story

Gone for the YEAR
- Used to have a separate "TAPE" for my answering machine back in the 'old days'. Put the tape in for the 4th of July weekend and forgot re RE-RECORD over the New Year Greeting that said we'd be closed "FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR!" Got a few funny messages on Tue when we got back to the office.
