Opera is an excellent email client, it sounds a bit strange, because Opera is primarily a web browser. And that is the thing that makes this client fantastic, it is integrated into your browser, so just one click and there are your mails, too. I never had any bad issue with it, the spam filter is better than Gmail's own, and in the new version of Opera the interface became cool, too. Try it out, I am using it for more than a year by now.
