I agree that I do not like Mozilla Thunderbird. I have been trying to find a different e-mail program. I have already read about several, and all the reviews were bad. Thunderbird has very limited color systems. It also has very bad typefaces. Outlook Express used to be wonderful.
My main problem is that I cannot get Thunderbird to animate my very animated emoticons on my e-mail. My stupid computer repair man, refuses to help me with this, so I'm going to go out and find somebody else to do it! Apparently the animated emoticons that I send to people on e-mail, are animated to them, but never to me on my e-mail. And nobody would tell me how to fix this. I have been on technical computer and software websites, and none of them seem to know what they're doing.
So, since the computer repair man refuses to fix it, I have to find someone else, and when I got a hold of Thunderbird support, all he did was act very cynical, and make fun of me because I like emoticons. And act like I was some kind of idiot because I liked emoticons, and wanted them to be animated the way they were supposed to be on my e-mail. Just the fact that the person you're supposed to get support from on Thunderbird, behaves in such a manner to you, is extremely insulting. So I would like to find a different e-mail program, and I agree that Microsoft has its head up its _____, and if they're not careful, they will lose everybody to Macintosh,or Linux ,. Just because they've gotten so BAD.
.(If you want to know a secret about Bill Gates, it's something everybody in the autistic community probably knows. We found out, Bill Gates is autistic. We know this for certain reasons, which I don't want to discuss here. But it would definitely answer why he's so good at computers, and so bad at people. And now, that he's made all that money, he's decided he doesn't have to pay attention to any of us consumers anymore. I have Asperger's syndrome myself, and I have a hard time dealing with people socializing, or trying to figure them out. So I imagine if Bill Gates is also autistic, he probably at this point doesn't care about relating to people, he definitely is not paying attention to any of us very angry consumers anymore. I don't want to discriminate or badmouth other autistic people. It's just that I wish somebody from the autistic community would go to Bill Gates and tell him that all his consumers are angry as hell at him, for the way he's screwing up Microsoft…)
