Up until recently I would have agreed, but now I am outraged. I have been with Aim Mail for many years and had no problems with them. Until now. Several months ago all my messages disappeared from my Inbox folder, and I'm talking years worth of messages. I figured it must've been a one- time error in the system and continued using it. But then it happened again. And again. Last time was this morning, I've lost a lot of important information. And it's only the inbox, none of the other folders are affected. But the last straw was the customer support, which is basically non existent for free users. Anyway, today I have decided to stop this mess and switch to a different frovider, no matter how inconvenient it is, I just can't afford to lose valuable information anymore. Please note, I had absolutely no problems with my mailbox until now, but apparently such small thing as proper customer support males all the difference

I'm no native English speaker..... There are a lot of pro's for imap aim. That's why I still use it. BUT sending mail over Thunderbird is sometimes very difficult. Error messages appear. Then, when saving the mail into the draft folder, no problems occur, never. Switching to aim webmail, sending from that draft folder, there is no problem. The sending problem is not ISP provider related. If I use my laptop elsewhere, the same happens. Nevertheless, I like using aim.

AIM is very fast, very reliable and now there are no more taglines in the messages sent. Calendar is included as well as the Instant Messenger. Everything works really nice, great job AIM/AOL. I will use this email often.

Fresh new look and improved design is the way AOL sells it. I have to agree. I was impressed by the way the inbox area is set up and how easy it is to move around in there. Also it now has easy access to Messenger which I think is great. I was also blown away by the fact that even though I have not used the service in months, not ever signing in to the account after setting one up, the program still accepted my initial logon information and had the welcome letter sitting there waiting for me. I never used it because there was no need at the time, but now I expect to make it one of my favorite email addresses.
