No stationery option on new Yahoo email programDecember 26, 2011 By lionstone
For some reason, my new Yahoo email program lacks a ""stationery"" option. Has anyone else had this problem? I can find no explanation for it or fix online. :(

The best email service I have ever used. Unless...December 20, 2010 By conesarekool
4 out of 5. Why? If you ever need to use a POP server, it costs 20$ a year. I love yahoo mail but after sending 120$ on them for a website filled with text and a couple pictures (wow! 5 megabytes!) I don't want to waste my money on them. If you don't use a POP server, and never will, defiantly the best mail service I have used. It isn't overly complicated like other mail programs. I like things simple even though I can build computers. The reason I want to use the POP server is for the Mail app on my MacBook Air. But if you never need an external mail app and your fine with going to safari, firefox, or internet explore to check your mail then use this. An important note is that you can still use the mail apps on all mobile phones, iPad, and iPods I have ever seen.

If you must use Yahoo Mail, use Yahoo ClassicJanuary 22, 2010 By bobwaters
There are worse webmail programs. And Yahoo Classic has one huge advantage for those of us who use webmail for email groups: when you either respond to an email or delete it, it gives you the same option of smoothly moving on to the next one in your inbox. For sheer efficiency and ease of use, IMO Yahoo Classic is THE email client for email groups. That said, there are frequent errors (especially of the ""unexpected"" kind that require you to try again in a few minutes), and the spam filter gives a lot of false positives. A goodly proportion of the posts you yourself make to email groups will appear, not n your inbox, but in your spam filter! Check it regularly; it's very good at catching emails that are not by any stretch of the imagination spam. I wouldn't use either Yahoo Mail as my main email address; Gmail or AOL/AIM/Tunome would be my choices there. But for email groups, Yahoo Classic has a lot to recommend it. Certainly more than the new Yahoo Mail!

Yahoo's new email compared to classic emailOctober 08, 2009 By raymememe
The new email stinks. The feature of bringing up the cntact list is nonfuncting under the new system. Dump the new system and maintain the old one.

    The WORST Ever!!!!October 02, 2009 By fashiongall822
I've been using Yahoo for almost 6 years and have had so many problems with this service. I only kept it for so long because it was on all of my business cards and other materials. But almost every day I try to ""search"" for specific emails by putting key words like the senders name or email address and it comes up with ZERO results knowing that i've got at least 40 threads of correspondence with that person. Also, at the most inconvenient times their site will just shut down where I cannot retrieve specific emails or even open my mail. When writing very long emails suddenly it's just closed on me where I try to go back and there's no trace of it so I have to start from scratch. Now I have to open a word doc to write my emails and copy/paste it into my email to make sure it's okay! What hassle! And they continuously change their layouts. It makes it so difficult to get used to and so inefficient. I understand the designers need to justify their jobs in order to keep them so they things like moving the ""sign out"" button from the left to the right side. But it's little things like that that are just the hugest annoyance. On the up side they have a lot of space available!

    AOL Free emailJanuary 07, 2009 By tropicalbrz07
I am having trouble with my inbox. It has on several occasions just deleted everything that is there. It appears that most of these emails have moved to my recently deleted folder. I did not move them, nor did I delete them. Now to get help with this problem is almost impossible. I cannot get a person to talk to. I can't report the problem to anyone. AOL does not want any contact with its users. Impossible to talk to anyone. Is anyone there?

the all new YAHOODecember 31, 2008 By angelalyman
I don't like it. It only allows me to send one e-mail every couple of minutes, and with yahoo classic, I am able to send several e-mails in a minute. The new version it way too slow for my needs.
