How to Specify a Reply-To Address in Yahoo! Mail

If you send a message from your Yahoo! Mail account, but want replies to be sent to a different email address, you can do that with a Reply-To: header.

Specify a Reply-To Address in Yahoo! Mail

To set a Reply-To: for any account you use in Yahoo! Mail:

  • Select Options | Mail Options in Yahoo! Mail.
  • Go to the Accounts category.
  • Follow the Add or edit an account link.
  • Highlight the desired account.
    • Your main Yahoo! Mail account is called Yahoo! Mail.
  • Click Edit.
  • Type the email address where you want to receive replies to your messages under Reply to:.
  • Click Save.

Specify a Reply-To Address in Yahoo! Mail Classic

To set a Reply-To: address different from your Yahoo! Mail address in Yahoo! Mail Classic:

  • Follow the Options link from the Yahoo! Mail Classic navigation bar.
  • Select General Preferences.
  • Type the email address you want replies to be sent to in the Reply to: entry field.
  • Save your new settings by selecting Save.
