In Yahoo! Mail, stationery is available for holidays, to set the mood, and to form a neutral (or funny) backdrop. Applying these styles is, thankfully, easy.
Send an Email Using Stationery in Yahoo! Mail
To write an email on rich and classy stationery in Yahoo! Mail:
- Start with a new email using rich text formatting.
- You can also apply stationery after you have already typed text for your message. No need to start from scratch. It is often easier to see a style's effect with text already present.
- Click Stationery in the toolbar to show the stationery bar to the right.
- Select the desired style from the Stationery bar.
- You can try different stationery styles with a message. Any text you have typed will not be affected — other than in its formatting. (Text styles you have set — such as the font or boldness — will be preserved.)
- Continue composing your message and finally send it.
To return to a rich-text email using no stationery:
- Select None in the Stationery bar.
