Fortunately, you can add your own folders to Yahoo! Mail — up to 200.
Create Folders to Organize Messages in Yahoo! Mail
To add a custom folder for your emails in Yahoo! Mail:
- Click Add next to My Folders in your Yahoo! Mail's folder list.
- Type the desired name.
- Press Enter.
Now you can use your newly created Yahoo! Mail folder to organize your mail. Maybe even make Yahoo! Mail filter messages from a certain sender to it automatically.
Note that you can also have the Automatic Organizer application create folders and filter messages for you.
Of course, you can delete any Yahoo! Mail folder you have created if you don't need it any more.
Create Folders to Organize Messages in Yahoo! Mail Classic
To create a folder for your messages in Yahoo! Mail Classic:
- Follow the Folders link from the left navigation bar in Yahoo! Mail.
- Enter the name of your new folder in the Name entry field (under Add Folder:).
- Click the Add Folder button.
