Postmaster to the rescue! Using Postmaster, you can get a quick overview of any POP, Hotmail or Yahoo! Mail account. Postmaster shows you the number and size of the messages. Now you can decide to delete some based on this information alone or get some header information (the sender and subject, for example) before you decide on which to remove. Postmaster can also show you complete messages using Outlook Express, but that means downloading them, of course.
While you can filter based on sender and subject, Postmaster lacks really useful filters. The new mail announcement is okay, but it could be more useful with some information about the newly arrived emails. Postmaster's interface in general is a bit off. You can, for example, resize its main window, but the message list does not resize with it.
