How to Access Zenbe in Windows Mail

By , About.com Guide

Zenbe is email bliss on the web. Windows Mail is email delight on the desktop. How about putting the two together?

Fortunately, Zenbe offers not only one but two ways to get messages from its inbox (and all external accounts you have set up in Zenbe) into Windows Mail.

IMAP or POP?

You can set up Zenbe as an IMAP account: this gives you seamless access to the inbox folder as it appears in the Zenbe web interface. All changes you make — say, deleting a message — are automatically synced with Zenbe on the web and all other places where you set up Zenbe as an IMAP account.

You can also set up Zenbe using POP: in a simple and robust manner, Windows Mail will download new messages from the inbox. You can have it delete messages from the web interface or keep them. POP is perfect if you don't have a permanent connection, for example.
