How to Send A Rose via Plain Text Email

By

Rosa Helvetica

Will you love my rosa Helvetica, love?

Heinz Tschabitscher
Yes, you could attach an image of a rose to your message, or even include it inline.

But a rose in plain ASCII text has the additional bonus and charm of something minimalist and creative that probably makes up for the lack of a "real" rose.

To include a rose in your email, copy the following to your message:

  • @->->--

You can combine three of them to a small bouquet. And you may want to add "<--- rose", just to make sure.
