Unfortunately, creating a backup is always tedious and boring. Always? No, with The Bat! it's easy. Really easy.
Back Up Mail, Contacts and Other Data from The Bat!
To back up your emails, attachments, address book, account data any anything else from any account in The Bat!:
- Select Tools | Backup... from the menu.
- Make sure the checkboxes next to the data you want to include in the backup copy are ticked.
- Leave Standard selected as the Backup method.
- Use the Browse... button under Backup file: to specify where you want to keep your backup.
- Click OK.
- Select the accounts you want to include in your backup.
- Click OK.
- Close the summary that comes up when the backup is done with the OK button.
Optionally, you can protect the backup copy of your precious The Bat! mail data with a password.
Restoring data from the backup is just as easy.
