How to Send Email Without Disclosing Other Recipients' Addresses

When you need to hide recipients' addresses in your AOL email message, use the BCC (blind carbon copy) field. Here's how.

  1. Click Compose to start a new email.

  3. Enter the email addresses of all the intended recipients, separated by commas, in the BCC box. You can also insert an entire address book group.

  4.  Compose your message and click Send.

In general, avoid sending mass emails via a personal email account. Instead, use a service such as Constant Contact or MailChimp. They can send mass emails for you correctly without your messages getting marked as spam.
