Password protection, virus scanning and pay-per-use if you're over your plan's sending limit might be nice.

SEND6 is both simple and comprehensive. Without registering, you can upload files up to 100 MB for recipients to download. When they do download, SEND6 notifies you and from a special tracking page you can delete files and prevent further downloads, too.
If you do sign up for a free Lite account, SEND6 lets you select recipients from a handy address which, using Plaxo, can import addresses from your email program. For files you want to keep or make available for longer than the standard 7 days, SEND6 Lite comes with 100 MB of online storage.
Further account types — too many if you ask me — add more options: increased file size limits (1 or 2 GB), more online storage (up to 5 GB), branding and even user management. Unfortunately, secure SSL connections are reserved to paying accounts as well.
