It's great to archive emails, too. You can forget them and search them and have an action trail in them.
Do you want to archive all the files, the kilo-, mega-, giga-, tera-, peta-, exa- and what-not-bytes, though? What, especially, about files that appear multiple times in various threads and messages, or photos attached to emails where you want to keep the message, but the photos already live happily where you keep images?
In PocoMail, you can, thankfully, delete the attachments and keep the emails.
Delete Attachments from Received Messages in PocoMail
To delete attached files from received emails in PocoMail:

- For all files you want to keep outside PocoMail:
- Click on the file you want to save with the right mouse button.
- Select Save Attachment As... from the menu.
- Pick a location and name for the file.
- Click Save.
- Select Message | Edit Stored Message | Edit Complete Message from the main PocoMail window's menu.
- Go to the Attachments tab in the message editor that comes up.
- For each file you want to delete from the message:
- Highlight the file to be deleted.
- Press Del.
- Click Save in the message editor toolbar.
- For messages on an IMAP account:
- Move the edited message to a local folder and back into the IMAP folder.
Note that clicking Raw View will lose all unsaved changes you have made.
