By mistake, or by having one of Pegasus Mail's many great features enabled: automatic typo correction. Pegasus can look for common misspellings and replace them with the correctly spelled word automatically.
Have Pegasus Mail Correct Common Typos Automatically
To enable this feature and make Pegasus Mail correct common typos automatically for you:
- Select Tools | Options... from the Pegasus Mail menu.
- Go to the User Interface | Automatic formatting category.
- Make sure Enable autoreplacement of common typos and abbreviations is selected.
- Click OK.
Insert Oft-Used Phrases Faster, Too
You can, by the way, use this feature to insert phrases you use often much faster and easier in Pegasus Mail.
