The signature's wish is your command, of course, and if the signature block is above quoted text in replies, your text should be on top of both.
In Pegasus Mail, setting up both is easy. You can also leave the signature at the very end of your replies; I'm not sure if it likes that, though.
Start Your Reply on Top in Pegasus Mail
To start composing replies on top of quoted text in Pegasus Mail:
- Select Tools | Options... from the menu in Pegasus Mail.
- Go to the Outgoing mail | Messages and replies category.
- Make sure For replies, place the cursor on an initial blank line is checked.
- To put your signature on top, too:
- Make sure If also inserting a signature, insert it just below the blank line is checked as well.
- Go to the Outgoing mail | Signatures category.
- Make sure Add this variant of the default signature upon message creation. is checked.
- Choose the signature version to be used.
- It's safe to use a formatted content signature. Pegasus Mail will automatically convert it to plain text for text-only emails you send.
- Click OK.
