How to Reply with No Questions Asked in Pegasus Mail

Click Reply in Pegasus Mail, and it starts asking questions: quote the original text; preserve rich formating; use which identity; reply to whom; reformat text? All this is very useful, of course, and usually unnecessary.

Fortunately, Pegasus Mail can answer all the questions on the Reply options dialog itself using the answers you last gave, if you press the right key.

Reply with No Questions Asked in Pegasus Mail

To start a reply with the last-used reply options in Pegasus Mail:

• Open the message to which you want to respond.
• Press Q.
  • You can also use the Reply button. Click its down arrow and select Quick reply using last options or see below to change the default.

Create Replies Quickly with the "Reply" Button in Pegasus Mail

To make the Reply button in Pegasus Mail use the last options without asking questions:

• Click the right arrow next to the Reply button in the folder toolbar.
• Select Button does quick reply.
