Guide Review - Trend Micro Anti-Spam Pilot 3.52 - Spam Filter
Trend Micro Anti-Spam Pilot integrates well with Outlook, moving the spam it detects to a special folder, from which Trend Micro Anti-Spam Pilot can automatically delete it after a quarantine period. And using heuristic filters Trend Micro Anti-Spam Pilot does spot quite a bit of spam without the need for manual filters or extensive training.
While you can retrieve updates from Trend Micro and set the sensitivity of the filter, the spam detection rate of Trend Micro Anti-Spam Pilot does not quite match that of a well-trained Bayesian-style filter. If you want, you can help Trend Micro Anti-Spam Pilot improve, though, by reporting missed junk and the rare false positives to Trend Micro.
You can also keep black and white lists of senders and have Trend Micro Anti-Spam Pilot accept only mail from approved senders. I would recommend the standard medium setting, though.
