Save a Message as Text with Windows Live Mail, Windows Mail or Outlook Express
To save a message as a plain text file with Windows Live Mail, Windows Mail or Outlook Express:
- Open the message.
- In Windows Live Mail:
- Click the Windows Live Mail button in the top left corner.
- Select Save | Save as file from the menu.
- In Windows Mail and Outlook Express:
- Select File | Save As... from the menu.
- Select Text Files (*.txt) from the file type drop-down menu.
- Give your file a name.
- Click Save.
