But what if your message contains parts that you know to "wrong" — a Portuguese poem, for example — in the language used for the rest of the message and for spell checking? Then you can employ the Outlook Express spell checker only for the desired parts.
Check the Spelling of Only a Part of a Message in Windows Live Mail, Windows Mail or Outlook Express
To check the spelling of just a portion of a message you are composing in Windows Live Mail, Windows Mail or Outlook Express:
- Highlight the part of the message you want to check with the mouse.
- Press F7.
- In Windows Mail and Outlook Express, you can also click Spelling in the message's toolbar.
- When done, click No to void checking the rest of your message as well.
