A way to save just this one file would be nice, and Attachment Options cannot add to or remove from Outlook's default list of suspicious attachment file types.
- Attachment Options makes it easy to control access to attachment types in Outlook
- Attachment Options cannot allow individual attachments
- You cannot add edit the default list of restricted file types
- Attachment Options lets you choose the level of protection Outlook exerts over certain attachment types.
- You can move file extensions from Level1 (no access) to Level2 (saving the attachment outside Outlook is possible) easily.
- Attachment Options lets you enable or disable protection for all default extensions in one go, too.
- Attachment Options supports Windows 98/2000/XP/Vista and Outlook 2000/2/3/7.
Enter Attachment Options. Attachment Options adds a simple tab to your Outlook options dialog that makes it easy to pick individual file extensions and move them from "Level1" — no access at all — to "Level2", which lets you save attached files to disk and open them from there (after a virus check, of course). You can also enable or disable all types with one click.
What Attachment Options cannot do, however, is edit the list of attachment types controlled by Outlook. It would also be nice, of course, for Attachment Options to offer a way to override the default settings for individual files right as you receive them.
