Guide Review - Mail Type Select 2.6 - Mac OS X Mail Add-On
If you are in a folder in Mail, all you have to do to jump to a message is to start typing a few characters of its subject or sender. Mail Type Select automatically goes to the nearest match and opens the message. Using handy keyboard shortcuts, you can go to the next or previous match quickly, too.
Unfortunately, Mail Type Select does not highlight the matches in the mailbox with a color. An installer that makes sure bundles are enabled in Mail and copies Mail Type Select to the right place would be nice, too, as would be incremental searching inside message.
