To quote only part of an email when replying in iPhone Mail:
- Double-tap and hold near where you want the quotation to start.
- You can also tap and hold until the magnifying glass comes up, then let go and choose Select from the menu.
- Use the selection bars to pick the precise selection.
- Tap the Reply button.
