How to Access an AOL Email Account with IncrediMail

Whether you have used AOL for 15 years or 5 hours, you may think its interface a bit dated. How refreshing, by contrast, IncrediMail is — a bit overflowing with animations and colors maybe but still solidly useful and stylish.

If only you could read the messages you receive at your AOL address in IncrediMail. If you have a few minutes to spare and a keyboard to type, this is just what you will be doing shortly.

Access an AOL Email Account with IncrediMail

To set up an AOL email account in IncrediMail:

• Select Tools | Accounts... from the menu in IncrediMail.
• Click Add.
• Make sure Let me configure settings myself is selected.
• Click Next >.
• Type your name under Your name is:.
• Type your complete AOL email address ("homers@aol.com", for example) under Your email address:.
• Click Next >.
• Type your AOL password under Password:.
  • IncrediMail has already entered the screen name portion of your AOL email address under Screen Name:. There is usually no need to change this.
• Click Finish.
• Click OK.
• Now click Close.
