How to Set Up a Mail Filter in IncrediMail

Filters are great. You can use them to automatically file mail to specific folders, for example, or to trash spam. In IncrediMail, filters are known as "message rules", and they are easy to create.

Set Up a Mail Filter in IncrediMail

To create a new filter for incoming messages in IncrediMail:

• Select Tools | Message Rules… from the menu in IncrediMail.
  • Press Alt-T if you cannot see the menu bar to bring up the Tools menu.
• Make sure you are on the Message Rules tab if present.
• Click the Add… button.
• Compose your message rule with
  • a criterion following If and
  • an action after then.
  • (For two criteria that must both be satisfied for the mail filter to take action, click And; you can remove the second criterion by clicking And again.)
• Click OK.
• Now click Close.
