I'm sure you have noticed that friendly (albeit a bit dusty) butler that can tell you when you have new mail waiting in IncrediMail. But where are the settings that control his restless activities?
Check for New Mail Periodically with IncrediMail
To make IncrediMail check for new mail periodically and automatically:
- Select Tools | Options from the menu in IncrediMail.
- Click the Menu button in the title bar if you cannot see the menu bar; you can also press Alt-T to bring up the Tools menu.
- Go to the General tab.
- Make sure Check for new messages every __ minutes is selected under Send and Receive.
- Specify a mail checking interval.
- Click OK.
Check for New Mail Periodically with IncrediMail Xe (Older Builds)
To have IncrediMail Xe check for new messages on its own and a schedule:
- Click with your right mouse button on the IncrediMail system tray icon.
- Select Select Notifier… from the menu.
- Make sure Check for new mail every __ minute(s) is selected.
- Specify a mail checking interval.
- Click OK.
