"Always display images from..."
How many senders can there be, and, more to the point, why should you have to authorize all your friends, family, colleagues and clients with whom you exchange mail frequently?
In Gmail, you don't have to: you can let Gmail do that automatically. After you have emailed somebody twice, their messages' external content (such as images) can be displayed automatically, no clicking required.
Have Gmail Display Remote Images and Other Content for Trusted Senders
To make Gmail show remote content such as images automatically in emails from people you have mail at least twice yourself:
- Follow the Settings link in Gmail.
- Go to the General tab.
- Make sure Always display external content (such as images) sent by trusted senders is selected under External content:.
- Select Ask before displaying external content to have remote images show only in messages from senders for whom you have enabled remote content.
- Click Save Changes.
