Blocking somebody in Gmail Buzz or Buzz mobile not only bans them from following your updates now or in the future, it also prevents them from commenting on your posts. Once you spot the offender, blocking them is a snap, too.
Block Somebody in Gmail Buzz
To block a Google Buzz follower fast in Gmail:
- Open Buzz in Gmail.
- Click followers next to your name.
- Now click Block for the follower you want to ban.
- Click Done
To block somebody from following your updates and commenting on your Buzz posts in Gmail:
- Go to Buzz in Gmail.
- Find a post or comment by the person you want to block.
- You can search for their name or email address, of course.
- Click on the name of the person you want to block.
- Now click Block [first name].
- Click Yes, I want to block [first name].
To unblock somebody in Gmail:
- Open Buzz in Gmail.
- Find a post or comment by the person you want to unblock or search for them.
- Click on the name of the person you want to unblock.
- Select Unblock.
Block Somebody in Buzz mobile
To block somebody from following you and commenting your posts in Buzz mobile:
- Open the Buzz menu in Google Buzz mobile.
- Select Find people.
- Type the name of the person you want to block in the search field.
- Now tap or select the name of the unwelcome person in the search results.
- Select Block.
- Choose Yes, I want to block [name].
To unblock somebody in Buzz mobile:
- Go to the menu in Buzz mobile.
- Choose Find people.
- Type the name of the person you want to unblock in the search field.
- Select the name of the desired person in the results.
- Choose Unblock.
