It took several decades until Grand Teton National Park was established in 1950. The first ideas to protect the area around Grand Teton and Jackson Hole had been ventilated in the late 1890s. But since then, the majestic mountains look down on warded moose, elk, bison and more than 300 species of birds — and on your emails.
