Yandex.Mail is a free email service that offers unlimited online message storage, web access, mobile apps, and more. In addition to using the Yandex.Mail web interface, you can also work with your messages using various desktop email clients.

To send mail from a Yandex.Mail account through an email client, you'll need the Yandex.Mail SMTP server settings. While you can use your account online through the Yandex website, using the settings below allows your email program to access your Yandex.Mail account and send messages.

Use the Yandex.Mail POP3 settings to retrieve and download your email.

Yandex Mail SMTP Server Settings

These are the options you need to set up in your email program to send messages through your Yandex.Mail account:

  • Server address: smtp.yandex.com
  • Username: Your Yandex.Mail address (for example, your name @yandex.com)
  • Password: Your Yandex.Mail password
  • Port number: 465
  • Security: With SSL/TLS
  • Authentication: Required
  • Sending limits: 500 emails a day

To check your Yandex.Mail email on a mobile device, make sure Yandex.Mail is accessible through IMAP.
