Resetting this file can cure the problem, but you will also lose all but the most essential settings. Only the servers for retrieving and sending mail and your registration information are retained. Fortunately, Eudora does save a backup copy of your old .ini file as "Eudini.sav" automatically.

To reset and often repair your Eudora configuration:
- Hold down Shift and Ctrl while
- selecting Tools | Options from the menu in Eudora.
- Select Yes.
